I have. I am currently running what was the first version of Storm Linux
and have upgraded all the way to Woody via Potato. I found along the way
that I needed to specifially install some of the Storm stuff (like SAS
and its modules) because otherwise apt held it back. I had a look on the
Storm ftp site and did 'apt-get install whatever'. I do have the stormix
lines in my /etc/apt-get, but when rain became hail the newer stuff
wasn't picked up. Once I installed them, future versions are upgraded
along with anything else when I do an apt-get dist-upgrade.
My current libc is 2.2-1 and it is working fine. I also have XFree 4.0-1
and that works fine too.
There will certainly be glitches doing a major upgrade of this nature so
expect to mess around a little sorting things out. Upgrading from an
older version to a newly-released stable version is not usually
problematical at all.
