Login as root in a console
dpkg --configure --pending
or 
dselect

go directly to (4) .Press enter.Exit dselect as quickly s you can
without touching anything else .(personal opinion ,I could never stand
dselect) .. :-)

dpkg --help | less
 for more options .
just take care when playing with dpkg ,since you can screw your system
really bad.
