Have you tried to use SAS to add the new NIC? Also, look at your isapnp.conf to see
if the card shows up. Also the information on the alias that Todd spoke about goes in
/etc/modules.conf. If isapnp.conf does not show the card you can always try this as
root:
# pnpdump
# pnpdump > isapnp.conf
# isapnp > /etc/isapnp.conf
Also you could go into the modules section of the kernel and uncomment the one you
need.
