I'd like to suggest the following feature(s) for SPM:
1) ability to find/filter by version number.
2) ability to see which "source" the package is coming from
3) ability to list all occurrences of a package and show their respective
sources, not just the newest one.
4) only see new packages since last update
5) see which packages should be updated (similar to when SPM first appeared
on the scene, but more user control)
6) able to do full dist-upgrade using SPM
7) update a specific package that's already installed. Sometimes packages
are kept back when using apt-get and often for reasons unknown. It would be
nice to click on a package and say UPGRADE and it's done.
8) better error reporting
Just my 2� worth.
