I have XMMS and am running KDE with woody (testing). I believe it is the helix1 version
of XMMS. It does a good job with MP3s, WAVs, and Ogg files. The only problem I have is
that it crashes if I put more than one file on the playlist.....doesn't lock up, just
disappears. Is this problem particular to KDE, or has anyone seen it happen with KDE2
or
Gnome?

BTW, vorbis.com has an ogg encoder that works well with Grip. The only problem I have
is
that XMMS is the only multimedia program in Woody that will play them. I guess the
version of FreeAmp in Sid does as well.
