I have spent the afternoon reading up on burning CDs and one message I
read said that problems like this are often caused by a bad CD - the guy
suggested trying a CDRW instead. I tried the Best Linux iso image written
to a CDRW and it worked. I have only recently bought my CDRW drive so
haven't really learnt how to use it properly yet.
