Both PartitionMagic and PartitionCommander say that they can resize and move
Linux Ext2 partitions, they can not handle the Resf file system.
You will need to resize and move to keep your drive designations in Storm
the same.

I have not tried with either program, though I have both, so I can offer no
proof as to if it will be successfull.

If you are set on trying Red Hat I would suggest either going with 6.2 or
waiting for the next release. RH 7 is their poorest and most problematic to
date. I have run the installation on different machines, on different
drives, and in various modes on at least 12 occasions and I have only had 1
where all the pkgs were properly installed. On all other occasions linuxconf
(the RH configuration tool)and its assoc programs would not run.

2 other distros that I like and run are SuSE and Mandrake 7.2( the
downloaded final ISOs not the Oct. retail release)

At any rate to boot Win, Storm and RH install the RH Lilo to the RH / or
/boot partition if you created one and then edit the storm loader to include
it as an option.

Subject: [SLU] Installing two linux versions on same box?

    Hello,

I have Storm Linux Deluxe installed and was wondering if there was a
tool that would allow me to free up some linux space in order to install
another version of linux like redhat.

I want to get the prompt to load Windows, Storm or redhat when I boot.
I currently get the prompt at boot time to load Windows or Storm.

Is this possible or should I not waste time trying to install redhat.

Thanks

Frank
