If you are running KDE, try looking at Utilities-> Printer Queue.
Perhaps that will help you troubleshoot the problem. Also, look at the
/usr/doc/ howto's on printing. There are a number of commands there that
will help you troubleshoot. What printer is it? If it is postscript
compliant, try selecting "generic postscript" rather than your printer
model. StarOffice has a separate printer setup. If you use that, you
might want to see if you can get that to print. You can also try
installing lprng. Good luck
