Any idea when woody is officially released? Does the beta woody include xf86-4,
kernel 2.4, glibc 2.2? I know these are planned for the release of woody, just
wondering if they are already thrown in the beta mix?
w/r/t bankruptcy: I will bee with storm until offical demise, but I with a guilty
conscience I checked out Libranet. It looks alright could not find the other debian
distro that the list is talking about progency/prodigy/progeny????
SAS saved me the headache of getting my printer, soundcard, new monitor and vidcard
working with linux. Now that I am a lot more experienced and comfortable with the
commandline, I could do those tasks, but SAS definety proved it's worth.
If I know the name of a package, I use apt-get, but if I am not really sure what I am
looking for, or like to easily preview a package description size, dependency, etc,
Stormpkg is definitely the way to go.
If storm goes, at upgrade time, I will be looking for a Debian based distro with this
functionality.
Does anyone know if there are similar tools to SPM, SAS, which are for Debian in
general but not exclusive to a commercial distro? ie. something from freshmeat that I
missed?
