I think this whole Progeny Ian Whatshisname Worship discussion does a disservice to new Storm users who will have the impression that there is something there that we don't have with Storm (Did I install the right distro???). I don't see anyone on this list recommending switching to the Hurd, just because we owe a lot to Stallman. The whole beauty of Storm is the easy install and doesn't botch up Debian if you want to upgrade. I am presently running Woody (Progeny presently will not support the upgrade from Woody) using the Debian sources, as well as Gnome from Ximian. I download about 20 mb per week using apt-get dist-upgrade with minimal hassle. So I don't see how Progeny can have anything I don't already have. SAS runs great. I would imagine that there will continue to be SAS and Stormpkg development at sourceforge in the future. My two bits. Won't dwell on it anymore. -Glen _______________________________________________ Stormlinux-users-list mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://www.stormix.com/community/lists/listinfo/stormlinux-users-list
