I don't know if this bug was fixed but in the beta version I had to
start SAS
and bring up the network every time.It might've been fixed but..try
that.
If it doesn't work, then as root try running "pump" manually(just type
pump) and
and see what errors it gives you.pump was the dhcp client used by Storm
when
I tried hail. Now I had problems with pump with both @home and telus so I
use now
dhcp-client .dhcpcd used to work very well but it doesn't anymore with
my ISP.
Your best bet if pump doesn't work is to try them all(apt-cache search
dhcp will
give you a list). Also some ISP's require that you send the
hostname.Check the
relevand config file for your client. For pump is /etc/pump.conf,dhcpcd
and dhcp-client are using /etc/dhcpc/config .Check that directory as
well for other relevant files.:-)
BTW,is the card detected now?
dmesg | grep eth0
should tell you more.
If worse come to worse man interfaces ,and check the archive.I just sent
yesterday to the list an example config file.
