Dear Rogerio, Very useful info, thank you. Transport costs is also an important contributor of a imported stove's price point. Which is one argument for promoting local production of stoves. But then you run into the emissions/efficiency issue. Can locally produced stoves compete in with emissions and efficiency standards of manufactured stoves (Envirofit, StoveTec, Lucia, etc.?). Which gets us back to the question of standards, which we're still waiting for. It's all connected but must all be untangled bit by bit.
