All, It looks like the 2011 ETHOS conference will be biggest yet. Registration is running ahead of last years registration and we have a lot of good talk scheduled. The conference is six weeks away on January 28 - 30, 2011. Registration will start Friday at 4 pm and the conference will completed by 5 pm on Sunday.
We will again be meeting at Northwest University. I anticipate that we will have 120+ participants and will have participation from Europe, Central America, South America, Asia, and Africa. As usual we'll gather late Friday afternoon evening at the conference hotel to share stories, see old friends, and meet new friends. And as always we'll have Friday evening slide night. Show us what you've been doing. A lot of things are happening and I'm eager to get caught on the success stories. There will be a $60 ($25 for students) registration fee payable at the conference to cover the cost of the venue, printed materials,conference proceedings, and other misc costs. The fee will be waived for anyone who cannot afford it. Please preregister onliine at http://www.vrac.iastate.edu/ethos/conference.php Call for Papers -- Abstracts for papers, talks and workshops are now being accepted. Please get your talks, panels, and workshop ideas in ASAP so we can get a conference schedule posted. Proposed talks are not required to include papers but written material if available provide the attendees with additional helpful information. Please let me know if you have any questions.
