Hm... good point. Well, I'm only using v3.7+ :-) Moreover, I had to fix the syscall entry path for strace to work properly. See: http://lists.rocketboards.org/pipermail/nios2-dev/2014-January/006968.html The patch is actually attached, given the maintainer wants patches that way. So, I'd say we only support recent v3.7+ kernels.
