The fact is that strace (I tested 4.7 and 4.8) builds with gcc 4.6.3. By choosing strace 4.5.20 (released 4 years ago) you miss a lot of fixes and enhancements. [...] > Thanks, I didn't know about strace-log-merge. This script was added in strace 4.7. -- ldv
