I logged an enhancement request for it. Thanks yet again, Tim.

Subject: Re: [Stripes-dev] Stripes' use of toString() over finding a registered
Formatter

Well, the whole formatting framework is already there, and has been since the
beginning. I guess the question is really: what is are the places it should be
getting invoked where it currently is not ;) Right now I think it's only used
by the form/input tags. But in reality it probably should be used, as you
suggest, in the s:param tag and also in any of the Resolution classes that
munge non-String objects into the URL.

Anything else? Feel like logging a bug for it?

Howdy Stripers!

Awhile back I seem to remember some talk about having Stripes look for a
registered formatter to use before calling toString() whenever a Stripes tag
(ala <link-param>) or Stripes class/method (ala Resolution.addParameter())
needs to shoehorn an Object into a String. I checked the Stripes 1.5 roadmap,
and I didn't see anything that looked very close. Does anyone know where that
was left?
