You should send these kind of messages to [EMAIL PROTECTED],
but you're new here so that's ok. I can only comment on #3. The stripey
way to go about that would be to create custom DateConverter that deals with
timezone.

After carefully reviewing Stripes, I have come to the conclusion that it
is one of the most innovative and elegant action based framework in the
Java. Tim, you did a masterful job. Before I begin the migration from
Struts, can you guys please clear up a few questions that I still have.
Sorry if they have been asked before and I missed the answers.
1. Is it possible to control the order of the error messages without
itemizing the error for each field? Struts displayed errors in the order
listed in the validation file and the order of the annotations doesn't seem
to have any effect.
2. Has anyone found an elegant solution for creating a definition file for
the layout tags? Stripes recommends including the layout in the body page,
but we happen to use the same body / menu pages in different layouts and I
would like to avoid having an extra JSP that just defines the include
directives.
3. Is there any way to incorporate timezone awareness in the
DateConverter? A user might enter 12/12/2007, but that still has to be
adjusted for the users' time zone which might be ahead or behind the server
time. I can always do the adjustment in the action, but that would violate
the spirit of Stripes.
Thanks,
Gene
