Hi.
I think you should use looping for that case. Because if your data in
database is more than one, you need to loop it and make a statement to
display a start date equals to.
If you dont use looping(<c:foreach>), the tag text will display the latest
result or data in the column startdate in your database table.
You can look at the stripes example bugzooky.
