It has onchange attached to the file field to initiate upload and it uses hidden iframe to do the upload. The server script stores the uploaded file somewhere and returns its path so javascript side can update the div with previews. Those previews hit a server side script that returns previously stored uploaded file using simple <img src="/streaming-action"> technique, I suggested earlier.
