As far as I'm concerned, Ben is the man behind Stripes. Tim had a fantastic idea, and build Stripes to realize it. But since it did what he needed, he had no interest in further development (and with time being precious, I won't blame him). Since then, Ben has continued development, made decisions, etc. Stripes is every much Ben's accomplishment as Tim's now.
