Hi everyone,
I'm working in a cloud environment where we are constantly adding /
removing web servers based on the current load at any given time. In order
to avoid people getting logged out randomly throughout the day, we decided
to store our sessions in Redis (an in memory cache) so that requests can go
to any server and session information will be retrieved correctly. The
problem is with the Stripes CryptoUtil. I see this warning all over the
logs
CryptoUtil:165 - Input was not encrypted with the current encryption key:
4qaa5tWDlC0=
I'm assuming its happening because the server that generates the encryption
key is not guaranteed to handle subsequent requests. Is there any
configuration I can use to also store this encryption key in the cache and
have Stripes look there rather than in the web servers memory?
Thanks,
Adam
