Hi,

I prefer the second solution as it builds into the Struts framework. But
you need to know how to change the Struts framework at all.

Lucky, somebody already done something similar which is working in Struts
1.02 or before (Role base security). You can found the source code in
http://husted.com/struts/resources/struts-security.htm. You can also find
the same link in Struts resource page. The resource contains a lot of
useful extensions and ideals which old version of Struts may not have but
you may need it in your project.

In Struts 1.1 beta 1, it seems the role base security is part of the
release. Please correct me if I misunderstanding.

Regards
Kelvin
