http://nagoya.apache.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=13279 Getting InsertTag not to swallow exceptions ------- Additional Comments From [EMAIL PROTECTED] 2003-01-27 14:31 ------- Eddie / Hal: This issue is a problem for us... We are close to switching to a patched in-house version, around the lines that Hal outlined. I am assuming you agree that this is not ideal solution; we would like to stick to your distributions if we could. Could we be of any direct assistance in resolving this? I understand this is not scheduled for inclusion soon... what can we do about that? If we submitted a patch (diff) along the above lines, rethrowing but probably best wrapped in a JspException, would it be accepted and included any time soon? PS: Regarding backwards compatibility, I understand Eddie isn't really worried about this, correct? So we'll just ignore it in our suggested patch? Or make the re-throwing conditional to... what? An attribute of the tag? An application scope context (web.xml) attribute? -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> For additional commands, e-mail: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]>
