http://nagoya.apache.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=21347 Failure to use non-standard HTML properties with Struts custom tags ------- Additional Comments From [EMAIL PROTECTED] 2003-07-07 04:00 ------- "This is a perfect example of how something that is already excellent, could be made even better." It would make Struts worse, not better, if we supported non-standard markup. "If Greg had submitted a patch, it would be wrong to invalidate the bug." That is not how things work. Patches do not mean a feature will be implemented. Struts will absolutely not, nor will it ever, support non-standard HTML out of the box. A fair request is that the tags be factored appropriately to allow reuse/customization. I refactored BaseFieldTag to more easily allow customizing the behavior for whatever non-standard features apps may want to add. --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] For additional commands, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
