As is stands, I've checked the operation of the select tag and it is working correctly with a DynaActionForm, with or without the size attribute. So that's why I closed the bug. Double check that the 'id' form value is being set correctly by displaying it in your page e.g. <bean:write name="yourForm" property="id"/> As I suggested, if you post your code to the Struts user list it will be easier to try to get to the root of the problem.
