http://nagoya.apache.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=27236 Form population automatically assign default value when parsing error occurs. Summary: Form population automatically assign default value when parsing error occurs. Product: Struts Version: 1.1 Final Platform: PC OS/Version: Windows NT/2K Status: NEW Severity: Major Priority: Other Component: Validator Framework AssignedTo: [EMAIL PROTECTED] ReportedBy: [EMAIL PROTECTED] My Action form has a field that is defined as an Integer, if the user types something in that is not convertable to an int, for example the user types in "zzzz". I would have expected the validator framework to catch that and display an error, what happens instead is that beanutils will default that to zero. The validator framework should be better integrated. --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] For additional commands, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
