Since this is a already a free JSP tag library, I don't see much reason to add it to Struts Menu
Yes, of course, you are right. I was thinking however that struts menu has the very nice uniform approach(from the programmer's perspective) with the XML or DB stored structure of the Menus/tabs. Beeing uniform allows programers to decorate with them webpages, where the end-user can choose the "look" or menu/tab type by themselfs. I think this is the most important feature of struts menu. That's why adding new menu/tab types increases it's use IMHO, and for the programmer that uses struts-menu does not represent more work.
