Not sure if this helps, but the only way I know to control page breaks is to use a stylesheet (CSS). You can do attribute value matching in CSS, the combination may allow you to do what you want. Of course it's only available in relatively recent browsers, and using CSS in older browsers that 'kind of' support it can cause mysterious behaviour.
