We have Tomcat 4.0.1 running on OS/390 under a linux (suse) partition through VM and it is quite stable. Also, Apache 1.3.19 is on there.
So, it can be done. I have heard instances where people have got it to run under Linux under a LPAR. What I would like to know is that has anyone got Tomcat and Apache to run directly under OMVS.
