Search the Jboss archives for classloading under Jboss 3.0.. I believe you have to wrap the war into a single .ear with the EJBS, and remove the libs from the war and put them in the ear *only* if you are using embedded Tomcat with JBoss. Something about how the classloaders work under the new Servlet 2.3 spec on classloading.
