He was telling you to ask your question in a "smart" way. In otherwords, he was trying to act as list moderator. I find that more offensive than some of the things that document addresses. I didn't personally find anything in particular wrong with your question and a simple answer from somebody would have sufficed. Try taking a look at EasyStruts from SourceForge. I have not used it myself, so I can not say how well it does or does not work.
