I don't see how the *name* of a method can lead to an exception. Secondly why are you getting a *NumberFormatException*. Aren't all your ActionForm properties String types? (Refer to the countless discussions on this subject for its virtues)
All that being said, remember that unless otherwise coerced, JavaBeans introspector looks at the first two letters of a property to determine the capitalization rules. I don't know if this has any bearing on your problem.
