To make this example work you need to: 1. Uncompress the StrutsMonkey WAR inside webapps/StrutsMonkey. 2. Add the struts libraries: Just uncompress the struts-blank.war file that comes with struts RC1 over the strutsMonkey directory, without replacing duplicated files (specially web.xml). 3. Edit web.xml, replace the /WEB-INF/taglib/*.tld references with just /WEB-INF/*.tld. 4. Edit web.xml, comment or delete the struts-1_0.jar reference. 5. Edit MonkeyStruts.jsp and MonkeyStruts_v2.jsp, and also correct the tld references to point to the right place: /WEB-INF/*.tld.
