how to pre-check a radio button in struts-html tag?

Hi,
I have a simple problem, I need to check the first of the following two
radio buttons:

<html:radio property="question1" value="1" />Yes
<html:radio property="question1" value="2"/>No

This syntax creates them fine, but neither are checked. How do you do
it?
