Hi, I used a connection pool via JNDI,, the only issue was that it was possible for the system to check out the same connection once, and if you return one, (close) then it closes for them all.. I wrote a little item that added the hashcode to an arraylist, removeing it when then code released the connection, when there where none in the arraylist it was safe to close
