Thomas Nikolajsen <[email protected]> added the comment: /usr/pkg/etc/mk.conf isn't a good file location, as other pkgsrc install directory (LOCALBASE) can be used, also 'etc' directory for pkgsrc can be set separately (PKG_SYSCONFBASE), see link below.
