A dialog similar to DC download would be wonderful. So, adding gps fixes after your are done with dives (and dive sites) always applies to dive sites. Hence the dialog box will display a list of "locations" without date/time. Once the process is done, GPS fixes will apply to all dives done in the same spot. BTW if the user downloads gps fixes we can be sure that he cares about dive sites management. Last sunday I dove in a cave since one year. it was the first time I had the companion app with me and I have 12 dives already logged there. If everything goes as planned (happy day scenario), once I import dc data inside my V3 logbook I will start typing the cave name and I will find that name already there. I will save my dive with that name. When I download GPS data and one fix matches one of my dive, I will display a nice table with the dive site name followed by a count of dives there. i.e. # - Lat/Long - Date Time - Dive Site - Number of dives affected >> I agree with Miika that having a gps fix symbol near the dive would be nice. >> Even on a column in the dive sites list. > > Easy to add. Please file an enhancement request bug so I don't forget I will add it this evening. -- Davide https://vimeo.com/bocio/videos _______________________________________________ subsurface mailing list subsurface@subsurface-divelog.org http://lists.subsurface-divelog.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/subsurface
