One thing that I've found helpful in the context of running / testing Subsurface in a virtualised environment, when it comes to downloading dives from dive computers over Bluetooth: It is possible to use a cheap USB-Bluetooth adaptor, and give the virtualised guest OS full access to this USB device, which will enable it to run its own Bluetooth stack without interference from the host OS. I've found that this works reliably for Subsurface to download dives at least under linux and Windows (I've never tried a MacOS guest OS).

Ngā mihi
