Experience in support & administering Red Hat Linux AS, IBM AIX. * Troubleshoot OS, hardware & application bottlenecks. Crash recovery and performance tuning activities. Skilled at investigating, isolating and resolving system problems with minimum downtime. * Extensive working knowledge in Veritas Volume Manager (VxVM) along with Veritas File System (VxFS) for Disk Management, Volume Management & increased disk availability. Experience working on multipathing softwares like Veritas Dynamic Multipathing & EMC PowerPath. * Planning, Implementing and supporting high availability, mission critical, fail over clusters using Veritas Cluster Server with SAN along with I/O fencing using SCSI III persistent reservation. * Hands on experience in the installation, configuration and implementing Veritas Storage Foundation Suite HA for Oracle. Worked closely with Storage Area Networks (SAN) team for Storage Migration, Storage Allocation consisting of EMC Symmetrix/Clariion & Hitachi Data Systems. * Installed and configured Qlogic & Emulex SCSI HBAs for SAN connectivity. Experience working for Large Data centers spanning more than 5000 Servers in 24X7 Production and On-Call Environments. * Excellent written & verbal communication skill in English.
