Location: Salem, OR 97301 Duration: 4 months Desired start date: 4/6/09 Interview: Telephone/Personal Job Description: Our client seeks IT technical services (Application/Software Engineer IV) to supplement the project team for the Upgrade Internal GIS subproject. This project will be developing an integrated GIS solution that will pull documents from a FileNet P8 repository. The project may change, based on client's business needs and priorities. Contractor will provide expert analyst, maintenance and development services in support of these projects, including: develop GIS prototypes; provide recommendations to the project Technical Architect; define the technical and functional requirements to complete a construction specification for components as requested by the department; develop the GIS system components described in the design/construction specification(s); perform unit, functional, and integration test cases; resolve application errors; and meet regularly with project teams, Special Functions: Advanced - 3-5 years programming experience in a J2EE or .NET environment - Required Advanced - 3-5 years programming experience with ESRI ArcObjects-based technologies, such as ArcGIS Desktop 9.x, ArcGIS Engine 9.x, and/or ArcGIS Server 9.x - Required Advanced - Experience working with ArcSDE in a Microsoft SQL Server environment including experience working with ESRI Geodatabase technology - Required Advanced - Experience with the IBM/FileNet P8 platform (version 3.5 or higher), ArcGIS Server 9.3 JavaScript, and/or Flex APIs - Desired Advanced - Experience working with ESRI MapObjects and/or ESRI ArcIMS - Required Advanced - 3-5 years programming experience developing web applications with client/server architecture - Required Advanced - Strong oral and written communication skills - Required NOTE: Prefer local candidates since the client will need an onsite interview before making their final decision to hire.
