I'd recommend showing one or more buttons for dismissing the error and taking any other relevant actions within the palette. Clicking on the text label likely won't be very discoverable. For instance, this error might have two normal buttons for "Cancel" and "Show Settings" (assuming something in settings can be adjusted to improve the situation; I don't know enough about what this error means).
