Good! I'm working on this. I could do all the steps that you mentioned but I had to change some things. For example, I'm running F16 so I had to change things related to that. I was asking myself how to re-build a package for F17 in F16? Is there a way to do it? I updated the .spec file changing the Revision: and Patch: and the ChangeLog: fields. Now I have a package called pygobject3-3.0.3-2.fc16.i686.rpm installed and working on my system. I will write down a guide to do this for future reference.
