Hi Jane, 1) the values add up to 100 not to 1, so each value is really percent not a fraction. 2) the format is <begin of time interval>:<number of vehicles>,<begin of next interval>:<number of vehicles>,... so for 15 minutes intervals you would define 0:n1,900:n2,1800:n3 and so on. 3) The meaning is: no vehicles in the first twelve hours and 100 in the second twelve hours (see 2) 4) It is just a description of the data source. This timeline relates to inner city traffic not to suburbs. (Do not take this as the ultimate truth. It is only for cities in Western Germany and it is more than 20 years old.)
