Hi, Please, find below a description of a problem that find each time I run simulations. It is related to the CACC car following model.
Problem description: In SUMO simulations, I have a case where a car is stand still on a motorway with the purpose to provoke collisions. Peculiarly, A huge number of collisions emerges for the CACC model, while I have no collisions for the ACC model within the exact same conditions. I have a minimal number of parameters for the CACC or ACC model. I'm not using traci to initiate a TOR There is also no difference whether the parameter "has.toc.device" is set to True or False for different simulations. Do anyone knows why there is a huge difference? Here, you find the number of collisions when using the CACC model for CAVs and CVs mixes proportion number of v/h CAV CV Number of collisions (50 minutes) 1800 0% 15% 55 1800 25% 15% 246 1800 50% 15% 565 Here, you find the number of collisions when using the ACC model for CAVs and CVs, keeping everything the same except for the driver model mixes proportion number of v/h CAV CV Number of collisions (50 minutes) 1800 0% 15% 0 1800 25% 15% 0 1800 50% 15% 0 More info: OS: Linux ubuntu 4.15.0-74-generic #83~16.04.1-Ubuntu SMP Wed Dec 18 04:56:23 UTC 2019 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux SUMO: Eclipse SUMO Version 1.2.0 Build features: Linux-4.4.0-146-generic x86_64 GNU 5.4.0 None Proj GUI GDAL GL2 In attachment are some input files Thanks a lot for considering my problem.
