Your issue is unexpected as we routinely load old networks on Win10 PCs.
What were those "many Win10" errors you encountered?
Things to try:
- updating graphics drivers
- try running 'sumo -n yournet.net.xml -v' and 'netconvert -s
yournet.net.xml -v'
- load a network from the documentation examples
