Hi Charis,

I don’t know how to cancel a command, but maybe you could reset the destination
lane as the original one. For example, when you change lane for the first time,
you could log the original and destination lane of the vehicle. And when you
found the vehicle fails to change the lane, you could command this vehicle to
change to the original lane. This might cancel the first command.

What do you think?

Best wishes,
Felix

Subject: [sumo-user] cancel lane change TraCi command

Dear all,

I am trying to force lane change for vehicles, via TraCi, if their distance
from a junction is larger than a predefined threshold. I can't however find out
how to cancel the TraCi command for lane change if the vehicle fails to change
lane in this predefined distance.

Looking forward to your response.

Kind regards,

Charis
