please look into the lane change model

parameters. Try low lcKeepRight and high lcCooperative values. If you
insert the vehicles directly on the motorway, use all lanes to insert them
(departLane attribute of flow/vehicle definitions). If you have scenarios
with more traffic volume on the motorway, think of implementing a speed
distribution such that there are vehicles which would benefit from
overtaking.

Dear SUMO,
Is it possible to make vehicles on the freeway not always stay in the right
lane but scatter in the center or left lanes. Because vehicles on the right
lane will restrict the merge vehicles. As shown in the screenshot, 4243,
4233 and 4442 always stay in the right lane. And even insist on the right
lane after the merge point.
Moreover, I don't want to use Traci to make each vehicle change lanes
because the number of vehicles is so large. Is it a method that can realize
it just by setting configuration?
