I have lane changing problems in my networks. On a two-lane highway road there are a lot of vehicles that keep driving at the left lane, even when those vehicles are relatively slow and when faster vehicles are driving behind it. I also saw vehicles overtaking on the right side, which is not allowed (in the Netherlands at least). The road on which this happens is quite long, the vehicles that keep the left lane continu their trip for several kilometers on the same road. I know that vehicles might switch to a certain lane because they need to get to the right connection on an upcoming junction, but they shouldn't do so when this junction is more than 5 km ahead of them. But I guess this is not the problem here, since when I use the GUI and I show the 'best lanes' of such a vehicle, then both lanes show yellow. Intermediate question: what are the meanings of red, yellow and green colors for the 'best lanes' of a vehicle? I cannot find documentation on this.
