Hi All,

Is there any reasonably representative way, that SUMO can provide
post-accident pull-out/merge simulation for a motorway scenario?

For example, I want to represent a crash, which I've done via
re-inserting a stationary vehicle after the sim performed a transport
on it. So, then I have a queue of vehicles behind this forming.

On a multi-lane motorway, the queue of vehicles stuck behind the
crashed vehicle should then try to pull out / merge into the next free
moving lane. In real-life, its often not done very smoothly, so often
causes congestion.

All I can think of would be to increase the impatience factor, but I'm
not sure if that's really the right trigger? Given the lane change
models around cooperation and that sort of thing, I wondered if the
functionality might be there, or be close, if I could trigger it
somehow?

Thanks

Vincent
