Hi all,
I am using Sumo for some experiments, and I choose to use the IDM CF model.
I used this syntax:
<vType id="idm" length="5" accel="0.5" decel="3" >
<carFollowing-IDM/>
</vType>
The point is that in the IDM model there are several other parameters such
as:
- acceleration exponent, delta;
- minimum bumper-to-bumper distance to the front vehicle, s0;
- desired speed when driving on a free road, v0;
- desired safety time headway when following other vehicles, T.
How can they be defined in the rou.xml file? Have they been fixed at a
value?

I can understand that:
- desired speed when driving on a free road, v0, can be fixed using
maxSpeed="value";
- desired safety time headway when following other vehicles, T, can be
fixed using tau="value";
- minimum bumper-to-bumper distance to the front vehicle, s0, can be fixed
using minGap="value";
Am I correct? And what about delta?
